Record Album collection

1906-1922, undated

The collection is comprised of 538 record albums.

 

The bulk of the material is undated. Some of the records date from 1906 to 1922.

Clocks collection

The collection is comprised of various clocks related to the history of the Town of Franklin.

The materials in the collection are undated.

Jimmie’s Package Store collection

The collection is comprised of materials from Jimmie's Package Store including cups, utensils, a mixer, and various ephemera.

Ficco’s Bowladrome collection

The collection is comprised of materials from Ficco's Bowladrome including bowling shoes, pencils, and various ephemera.

Franklin Lithograph collection

The collection is comprised of lithographs depicting images of the Town of Franklin.

Coin collection

1929, 1976

The collection is comprised of historic coins including a wheat penny, buffalo head nickel, and walking liberty half dollar.

The materials in the collection date to 1929 and 1976.

National Franklin Patches collection

2003

The collection is comprised of 12 patches for fire and rescue and police departments in various Towns of Franklin around the country.

 

The material was collected upon the 225th anniversary of the Massachusetts Town of Franklin and thus dates to 2003.

Eyeglasses collection

The collection is comprised of historic eyeglasses.

Games collection

The collection is comprised of both historic games and ones related to the Town of Franklin including Franklin-themed monopoly known as Franklinopoly.

The collection is comprised of materials relating to sports played in the Town of Franklin including trophies, pennants, and various ephemera.

Flag collection

undated

The collection is comprised of flags related to the history of the Town of Franklin including 47 and 48 star flags as well as the flag flown over the Brick Schoolhouse.

The collection is comprised of historic stamps.

The collection is comprised of materials related to the history of the Franklin Fire Department.

Agrarian Tools collection

The collection is comprised of farm tools related to the history of the Town of Franklin.

The materials in the collection are undated.

Franklin Shovels collection

2006-2012

The collection is comprised of shovels used to break ground on new buildings in the Town of Franklin. It contains two shovels, one for the ground breaking of the new high school in 2012 and one for the new senior center in 2006.

Dean College collection

The collection is comprised of materials related to the history of Dean College including yearbooks, books about Dean, and various ephemera.

The bulk of the materials in the collection is undated.

Stanley Chilson Film collection

1935-1963

The collection is comprised of films taken by Stanley Chilson. They portray snapshots of Franklin history from Memorial Day parades and various church services to snow storms and the 1938 New England Hurricane.
