Emma Velluti Rabaioli
Emma Velluti Rabaioli, born in Franklin, Massachusetts on October 3, 1922, was a lifelong Franklin resident, member of the Franklin High School class of 1940, and bookkeeper for Dante Motors, Dean Junior College, and the Wrentham Insurance Company.
In September of 1946, she married Edward Rabaioli in St. Mary’s Church wearing a dress made from a Japanese parachute which had been sent home by her future husband during World War II. He served in the U.S. Army and was dispatched to Japan at the end of the war to confiscate items such as parachutes and swords.
Emma Rabaioli died on June 12, 2018 and is buried in St. Mary's Cemetery in Franklin.
